WBA lightweight champion Vasily Lomachenko could end the fight with Jorge Linares early due to injury.
This was reported by the manager of the Ukrainian Egis Klimas.
"Most likely, Lomachenko's shoulder moved in the second round, and then returned to its place. The doctor said that Vasily was lucky to continue and finish the fight. So this is serious enough, "- said Klimas.
Recall, today, May 30, it became known that Lomachenko flew for at least six months because of the injury that he received in a victorious battle with the Venezuelan.
Return of Lomachenko to the ring is expected not earlier than December 2018.
Earlier there was information that Lomachenko would hold his next fight on August 25, 2018. Contender Vasily was supposed to become a WBO lightweight champion Mexican Raymundo Beltran.
If everything goes properly, Lomachenko will be able to return to training in October.
