Ex-world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather confirmed information about his preparations for the debut in the MMA.
"I've already started preparing for Miami's debut in MMA, working on endurance, and I think that by the end of the year I will be able to make my debut in a cage. I am already the main star of the MMA, and only after me is Conor MacGregor, but I'm not sure that we will fight with him, as I plan to perform in a featherweight category, "said Mayweather.
He also plans to file documents to obtain a license fighter.
Recall, in August 2017 Mayweather defeated the champion of UFC McGregor in a duel on the rules of boxing. Later, McGregor summoned Mayweather to fight according to MMA rules.
Mayweather is the highest paid boxer of all time, he became the world champion in five weight classes.
