The WBO world champion in the second featherweight champion Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko signed a superheavy contract against the Venezuelan Jorge Linares.
As reported by segodnya. ua the boxers have already finally agreed to hold a fight that will be held on May 12, 2018 at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York.
Note that Linares is the WBA lightweight champion. For Lomachenko this battle will be the debut in lightweight. At stake is the WBA belt, which belongs to Linares.
Recall that his last battle Lomachenko held in mid-December 2017 against the Cuban Guillermo Rigondeaux. In total, in 2017, the Ukrainian had three fights in which he managed to win three wins.
