Organizers of the Winter Olympic Games in 2018 presented medals, which will be awarded to the winners and prize-winners of the competitions.
The design of the awards is based on the motives of the Korean national culture. Tapes of medals are made using traditional fabrics and contain inscriptions made in Hanguil font (Korean alphabet).
On the surface of each medal, the diagonal lines symbolize the history of the Olympic Games and the desire of participants to win.
Recall, the OI-2018 Organizing Committee recently announced a competition program.
Note, the tournament will be held from 9 to 25 February 2018 in Pyeongchang.
