The leader of the national gymnastics team Oleg Vernyaev was left without gold medals. Three Ukrainians took five medals at the World Cup in artistic gymnastics in Bulgarian Varna. Igor Radivilov twice climbed to the top of the pedestal, being the best in the base jump and in exercises on the rings. Another gold medal for the Ukrainian team was brought by Pyotr Pakhnyuk, who became the best on parallel bars. Also Pakhnyuk became the second in floor exercises. The fifth medal on the account of the leader of the national team Oleg Vernyaev - he became the second on parallel bars, losing to Pakhnyuk.
