Google has published a doodle dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine in its search engine.
The festive logo traditionally uses shades of blue and yellow - the colors of the flag of Ukraine, and in the center there is a stylized image of the famous Cossack seagull - the ship of the Zaporozhye Cossacks.
Google noted that the seagull was a light, maneuverable sailing boat that the Zaporozhye Cossacks used in the 16th-17th centuries..
The seagull owes its name to the unusual speed and lightness that the boat demonstrated on the water.. The innovative design of the Cossack gulls gave them an advantage and allowed them to get many glorious victories..
