Kyiv School of Economics has published a forecast according to which 20,000 people may die from COVID-19 in Ukraine by the end of 2020. They believe that this can happen if quarantine is not strengthened in areas of active spread of coronavirus.

The Kiev School of Economics notes that thanks to the strict quarantine, Ukraine managed to avoid a tough wave of coronavirus in the spring, so the first wave is still going on in the country, although in many countries of the world there is already a second outbreak.
