In Volhynia, border guards found more than 60 kilograms of "solar stone"

Employees of operational divisions of the Northern Regional Administration, together with investigators of the National Police in Volyn region, in the course of investigative actions, discovered amber stones and equipment for its processing.

First, the operative units received information about the possible involvement of one of the residents of Volyn to smuggle amber. Subsequently, as part of the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers conducted relevant activities and searched the private premises of Volhynia. As a result of the inspection, operational staff found four machines for processing amber stone, the powder obtained as a result of its processing, processed stones and amber raw material weighing more than 60 kilograms.
