The audit will be carried out jointly by the Department of Culture and Tourism of HOGA and OKU "Kharkiv Scientific and Methodological Center for the Protection of Cultural Heritage".
"In connection with the repeated cases of damage to monuments, busts of pedestals that have the status of monuments and are located in the cemeteries of the city of Kharkiv, it is planned to conduct a check of the technical condition of these facilities," the Culture and Tourism Department. - Based on the results of the inspections, there will be objective information on the actual availability, physical security and technical condition of tombstones and the grave monuments themselves ".
The administration noted that in case of new damages or destruction of tombstones on grave-monuments, the body of protection will take measures established by the current legislation of Ukraine.
