Designer of small arms Viktor Kalashnikov died in Izhevsk at the age of 76, according to the website of the Izhevsk State Technological University.
Activity as a designer Kalashnikov began in 1966. It is noted that during the development of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, he conducted numerous studies, identified a number of factors affecting the stability, durability and reliability of the product, developed a number of units and details at the level of inventions.
