It is reported that the main reasons for renouncing national citizenship are economic difficulties, expensive housing, a poor level of medicine, a threat to national sovereignty, as well as difficulties in implementing business activities.
Most Ukrainian citizens go on seasonal earnings, and then get a residence permit. Another option is to leave for a permanent place of residence.
Thus, only in 2017, 4,296 people declined from citizenship, in 2016 - 5,700 people, 2015 - 4,882 persons and in 2014 - 5,229 people. In 2017, Ukrainian citizenship was requested by seven and a half thousand people.
As reported in "URA-Inform", the United Nations will prescribe standards of world-wide safe migration, which will also apply to Ukraine.
