A man tried to smuggle into Ukraine 125 thousand dollars. At the same time he was carrying money simply in a backpack in a paper bag.
As reported in the press service of the State Fiscal Service, a lot of currency was carried by a passenger who arrived in Ukraine by transit from Turkey.
At the same time, the GFS noted that since the beginning of the year, the Kiev Customs has compiled ten protocols on violations of customs regulations on the carriage of foreign currency for a total amount of more than 4.5 million hryvnia. In the course of 2017, 255 such protocols were compiled for 39.2 million UAH.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, at the checkpoint Rava-Russkaya - Grebenne in the Lviv region detained a resident of Lviv, who tried to take out of Poland a large amount of foreign currency.
