For the first time in a long time, Russian mercenaries did not open fire on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ??the antiterrorist operation. As reported by URA-Inform, referring to the information of the press center of the headquarters of the ATU, Ukrainian army units strictly adhere to the Minsk agreements and ensure the implementation of all measures to maintain a sustainable ceasefire.

In addition, the headquarters of the ATU stressed that a complete ceasefire provides Ukrainians more opportunities to restore the destroyed infrastructure, establish transport links and actively carry out demining operations.

Recall, on Monday, January 22, in the Donbass in the afternoon, there was a fire activity of militants of Russian-occupation troops. The enemy continued to use mortars of various caliber, brazenly violating Minsk agreements not only on the positions of defenders of Ukraine. At the same time, during the past day, the militants opened fire six times on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
