Merkel today held the opening of the memorial on the Breitscheidemplatz to the victims of last year's Christmas attack, which killed 12 people. The Head of State honored the memory of all those who perished with a minute of silence and issued accusatory speeches both to them and to security services and law enforcement officers for the fact that the country was not able to prepare and track the sources of preparation for a terrorist attack.
"Not only to ensure security, but also to enable those who have suffered or lost their loved ones," the acting Chancellor sums up.
As reported in "URA-Inform," Merkel recently assured that there are no grounds for lifting the sanctions against Russia.
