In 2017, the number of Ukrainian citizens who traveled to the Polish Republic amounted to two and a half million people, and 600 thousand crossed the border without special visa documents, the rest went on the basis of the obtained passport. This is due to the receipt by Ukraine of a visa-free regime with the European Union, as well as a simplified procedure for obtaining a work visa for our citizens in a neighboring state.
It is noteworthy that during the same period last year, 1.4 million citizens of Ukraine entered Poland, which is 18 percent less than in the current year.
As reported in "URA-Inform", Ukrainians annually transfer to their families five billion euros from Poland.
