In connection with the continuation of the eruption of the volcano Agung, the emergency situation will be extended until December 10. As reported by The Straits Times, today the governor of Bali, Maid Mangu Pastic, announced his decision, connected with information that the eruption of the volcano Agung can intensify.

It is also reported that the ash from the eruption disrupted the work of the airport of the neighboring island of Lombok. According to the air navigation agency AirNav Indonesia, the airport of the neighboring island will be closed until Friday, December 1.



Recall, on the island of Bali, the international airport resumed its work.

As reported URA-Inform, the eruption of the volcano Agung on the Indonesian island of Bali led to the cancellation of several flights. This is the second eruption of the week. Volcanic ash rose to a height of 1.5 kilometers, covering a thin layer of nearby settlements. Local authorities demanded the evacuation of people living closer than 7.5 kilometers from the volcano.
