It is also clear that the environmental risks in the east of the country are now high. This was announced at the presentation of the results of the environmental assessment by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Ostap Semerak.

According to him, now Donetsk and Lugansk regions and to military operations were in the zone of high risk - due to the accumulation of large enterprises, as well as mines and the like. But after the fighting, the situation worsened even more. Now we just do not have access to the uncontrolled territory of Ukraine, and therefore there is no exact information on the extent of the environmental problem - said Semerak.

As reported URA-Inform, earlier Semerak said that in Ukraine the problems of ecology have already been taken by the throat.
