The Prosecutor's Office conducts investigations into the criminal case against the officials of the Ministry on the fact of assisting the heads of commercial structures in carrying out illegal import of goods into the territory of Ukraine without paying taxes and compulsory payments to the state budget. As reported on Thursday, September 28, the press service of the GPU, now searches are still ongoing.
At the same time, searches are conducted by the deputy minister and other officials of the department on the theft of large-scale budget funds aimed at improving children of school age and social vulnerable categories of the population on the grounds of a criminal offense under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Abuse of power or official position , the press service explained.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the Prosecutor General's Office reported details of searches, which law-enforcement officers conducted on September 20, 2017 in the mayor of Poltava.
