The Pentagon gave out arms for $ 1.2 million to fictive siloviki

This is stated in the report of the Accounting Chamber of the United States.

As noted, the US authorities as a check have demanded from the Ministry of Defense to transfer equipment and weapons worth $ 1.2 million to a nonexistent police department.

So, after a while, the fictitious body received night vision devices, rifles and components for explosive devices.

However, the site of the invented police department did not arouse suspicion among the military.

In this connection, the Accounts Chamber demanded from the US Defense Ministry to more strictly regulate the transfer of ammunition and conduct inspections in order to prevent possible cases of fraud.
