The report says that, according to preliminary findings, the cause of the fire in the building of the former grocery store on Khreshchatyk Street was the negligence of builders who carried out work on the roof.
Thus, the deputy chairman appealed to the Emergency Management Office with a request to check all such facilities of the city for compliance with fire regulations and labor safety conditions for builders.
Earlier, URA-Inform reported that yesterday in Kiev there was a fire in the building of the former deli in Khreshchatyk Street, 40/1. The fire was located on a total area of ??1000 sq m. Criminal proceedings opened.
