The film "Square" of the Swedish director Ruben Estlund received the "Golden Palm Tree" of the Cannes Film Festival.

The Grand Prix was awarded to the film "120 beats per minute" by French director Robin Kampiyo. The prize of the jury's sympathies was awarded to the film "Dislike" by Russian director Andrei Zvyagintsev.

The best director was recognized by Sofia Coppola, the best actors: Diane Kruger and Joaquin Phoenix. Nicole Kidman received the special prize of the jubilee, the 70th ceremony.

"Square" is a witty satirical film about contemporary art and a vanity of human hopes for each other. The main roles in it were performed by Klas Bang, Elizabeth Moss and Dominic West. At the Cannes Film Festival premiered.
