CEC approves full list of candidates for by-elections in Cherkasy region

26 candidates for the midterm elections of deputies registered in the Cherkasy region on October 31. Among the candidates there are 21 men and 5 women. This was reported by the Central Election Commission..

According to the CEC, the youngest candidate is 21 years old, the oldest is 64 years old. Re-run in district 197 - 58-year-old Leonid Datsenko, who won the elections in 2013, and 38-year-old Vladislav Golub, who defeated Datsenko in 2014.

There are three candidates registered by the name of Golub, two of them are Vladislav Vladimirovich.

Also two Voitsekhovsky are running, with the same name and patronymic - Vitaly Alexandrovich. One of them is the mayor of Zolotonosha, and the second is a resident of Kiev.

Among the famous personalities is the representative of the " Ex-political prisoner Roman Sushchenko, deputy chairman of the Svoboda party Andrei Ilyenko and frontman of the Tin Sontsya group Sergei Vasilyuk.

Recall that on October 31, 2021, midterm elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will be held in single-mandate constituencies No. 184 (Kherson region) and No. 197 (Cherkasy region). Interim parliamentary elections are held in connection with the adoption of a resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on the early termination of the powers of People's Deputies Igor Kolykhaev and Alexander Skichko.
