The project "Smart Region" will come into force in the Sverdlovsk region from July 1. The concept has already passed all stages of consideration. This was stated at the meeting of the interdepartmental working group by the deputy head of the administration of the governor Yevgeny Gurariy.
For a month they will develop the passports of the projects "Education and Personnel", "Information Infrastructure and Information Security", until August 1, experts will complete work on the passport of the entire priority program.

In April 2018, the concept of forming the "Smart Region" was discussed at the Council of Heads under the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.
