Immediately after the announcement of the President's message to the Federal Assembly, the lower house of parliament joined the work on legislative support for its implementation.

A few hours after the speech of Vladimir Putin, the State Duma Council decided to create an ad-hoc working group of deputies, which by March 22 it should submit a plan for legislative support for the tasks identified by the head of state.

On several topics touched upon in the message, earlier hearings were held in the parliament and profile working groups. It is, in particular, about solving the problems of defrauded co-investors, diversifying the defense industry and the digital economy.

Legislative activities for the implementation of tasks from the message to the Federal Assembly will be conducted at least until the end of this year. "The preliminary calculation showed that there will be dozens of laws," State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin told journalists..

Commenting on the message of the president, he divided it into two conditional parts. The first set out the key parameters that must be achieved in the coming years. The second part was devoted to how to achieve the set tasks, so that no one from outside could not interfere with this.

Volodin noted that one of the important topics touched upon in the message is the life expectancy of Russians. Going to the "80 plus" line, according to him, the task is ambitious, but realizable.

Russia should use the current situation in order to make a breakthrough, and the deputies will do everything to lead the country to success, concluded Volodin.
