The State Duma saved in January 2018 only on the wages of deputies who took leave at their own expense, more than six million rubles. According to the parliamentarian, there are usually 15 to 35 people at State Duma meetings. As a result of January, the savings on wages of those who took leave at their own expense amounted to 6.2 million rubles. She explained why some people's deputies take leave at their own expense. "In the regions there are events and meetings where deputies must be present. There is no such reason in the regulations among the articles that allow to be absent from the meeting. Recall that in 2017 the State Duma saved 706 million 320 thousand rubles, including through trips of deputies and increased control over purchases.
