Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine on European Integration Elena Zerkal said that the introduction of a visa regime with the Russian Federation carries risks that must be taken into account.

The corresponding statement she made on the air "Channel 5", reports the League. Net.

"I'm not a fan of the introduction of the visa regime, given that we complicate the lives of Ukrainians (. ) - and those who are in the Crimea, and those who earn money in Tyumen, and in general create a slightly negative background for those people who live near the border with Russia and are accustomed to travel to relatives, "said Zerkal.

According to her, the decision to introduce a visa regime with the Russian Federation is a political one, so the Foreign Ministry will implement it "in the way that will be most suitable".

"If we are talking about the introduction of a visa regime for security reasons, then there are already all the levers," summarized Zerkal.

Recall, May 21, the first deputy chairman of the faction "People's Front" Andrei Teteruk said that the parliament determines the number of parliamentarians who are ready to support the draft law on visa regime with the Russian Federation, "explanatory work".

As reported by the "Observer", previously an adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained the difficulties that the implementation of the initiative might face.
