Residents of the occupied territories of Donbass with "LDNR passports" can receive biometric documents on the territory controlled by Ukraine, since there are no legal mechanisms that could prevent this.
This in the commentary to the "Observer" was stated by the People's Deputy from the "Popular Front" Sergei Vysotsky.
"These people remain citizens of Ukraine. The so-called citizenship of "LDNR" is not recognized by anyone. In addition, there are also different people living there. It can not be said that there were only solid workers left there. People live in different circumstances and situations. Therefore, to deny them everything, probably, is also wrong. Perhaps, at least one of them will consider what opportunities Ukrainian citizenship gives them. Including the receipt of a biometric passport, "- said Vysotsky.
As reported by the "Observer", according to one of the Ukrainian publications, hundreds of residents of the occupied territories rushed for the line of delineation to issue biometric passports.
