Also, the order of distribution of UAH 550 million aimed at supporting domestic agricultural machinery in 2017 was approved, according to which the government will compensate agrarians for 20% of the value of purchased agricultural equipment.

The ministry team also drafted a bill on the demonopolization of the alcohol industry. They regulate the norm of denationalization of state enterprises of the alcohol industry and introduce a phased liberalization of the alcohol market in Ukraine. The document was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, is now under consideration in the Verkhovna Rada.

Also, the Ministry reports that the quotas for agricultural products for export to the EU have been expanded. The protocol of inspection, quarantine and veterinary-sanitary requirements for the export of frozen beef from Ukraine to China was signed, which will allow the export of domestic beef to China. Foreign trade turnover of agro products reached $ 19.6 billion. , Which is 26.1% of the total foreign trade turnover of Ukraine. Legislative measures were approved to support organic production and niche crops.
