The Russian Federation has already stolen about 400,000 tons of grain from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which could lead to starvation.

This was stated in the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.

We are talking about the territories of Zaporozhye, Kherson, Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

In addition, Russian troops are destroying elevators, warehouses, agricultural machinery and infrastructure in other areas with their missile and bomb strikes, thereby disrupting the sowing campaign..

The Committee notes that the blockade of Ukrainian ports and the mining of sea routes make it impossible to export Ukrainian agricultural products of past harvests.. So far, only 25 million tons of grain have been blocked in the port of Odessa, and in general, Ukraine, due to the blocking of ports by Russia, cannot export 90 million tons of grain, losing $170 million daily..
