In Zaporozhye, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the police, detained a resident of Melitopol on proposals of a bribe to an officer of the SBU, the press center of the department informs.

Intelligence officers found that the attacker, who introduced himself as a deputy of the village council, offered the SBU employee five thousand US dollars. He estimated that assistance in returning material evidence seized from him during searches: grenades and cartridges, and not bringing him to criminal liability.. After receiving the illegal proposal, the operative immediately turned to the internal security of the SBU.

Militiamen detained the malefactor according to art.. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine in the center of Zaporozhye when trying to transfer a specified amount.
