Representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Dujarrik stated that reports of the deaths of more than 100 people in the suburb of Damascus of East Guta from shelling in the last two days.

"There are reports that more than 100 people were killed in East Gut on Monday, among them at least 13 children. Five hospitals or medical centers in East Gut were attacked by air strikes, "says Dujarrica.

According to the UN estimates, there are about 400 thousand people in the besieged enclave. The UN noted that the Eastern Guta is a zone of de-escalation. "In this regard, the Secretary-General reminds the parties, in particular the guarantors of the Astana agreements, of their obligations," the statement says..
