According to preliminary information, after intensive precipitation, which led to a rapid rise in water levels in the Borzhava and Irshavka rivers. The dam could not withstand a strong influx of water, as a result of this, farmland was flooded.
The following villages also suffered:
Borzhavskoe, Velikie Komyaty, Olkhovka, Kamenskoe and Zarechye.
At the moment, losses as a result of the incident are calculated.
As previously reported in URA-Inform, a cyclone is coming to Ukraine in the next two days, which is expected to provoke difficult weather conditions. Under the influence of the active cyclone today and tomorrow in Odessa, Nikolaev, Vinnitsa, Cherkassy and Kirovograd regions strong precipitation is expected in the form of rain and wet snow, in places ice and sleet adherence.
