It is reported that a group of ex-employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the inspector of the State Border Service, were extorting money from a local businessman suspected of involvement in a crime. Corrupt officials promised to close the case completely if he pays an amount of 40 thousand hryvnia.
Criminals have already managed to get the first two parts of the amount of 15 thousand hryvnia, which was documented by law enforcers and will be used in court as material evidence. Law enforcers detained a border guard on one of the streets, when he received from the entrepreneur the last payment in the amount of 27 thousand hryvnia.
All Trojans face more than 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
As reported in the "URA-Inform", earlier in Lviv, the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine detained two employees of the linear department of the branch of Energosbyt PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsya".
