According to the lab center, the dog was kept in a private house on a leash, he did not have vaccinations against rabies. At the same time, experts added that during the period from November 5 to November 8, the animal bitten the landlady of the house and five other neighbors. It also became known later that on November 9 the dog died, and already on November 10, it was found that he was sick with rabies.

At the moment, all victims were assigned a course of preventive vaccinations.

The lab center added that as of November 14, 87 cases of animal rabies were registered in the region. 173 residents of the Kharkov region suffered from sick animals.
