The office of the "daughter" of the Russian bank burned down on the night of Tuesday, October 3, in the very center of Lviv. This was reported in the Office of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies (SDPU) Lviv region.

A report on the fire of the building on the avenue of Chernovol was received by the fire control panel at 02:32 (Moscow time).

"The fire arose on the first floor of a two-story building in the premises of the Lviv branch number 5 of Sberbank," - said in a statement of the State Emergency Service.

The area of ??ignition was approximately 25 square meters.

As a result of the incident, no one was hurt, but all office equipment and furniture were burnt in the fire. Almost two dozen firefighters participated in the extinguishing, four units of special equipment were involved.

As reported by the regional administration of the National Police, a criminal case was initiated on this fact under the article "Deliberate destruction or damage to property" (h. 2 items. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Attackers face up to 10 years in prison.
