As a result of the accident, three pupils of the kindergarten suffered. As reported by Delfi, referring to the information of the State Police of the country, the traffic accident occurred at the crossroads of Khansas and Strelniek streets around noon.

According to preliminary data, a 1987 man of birth, possibly due to health problems, lost control of the Volvo car. As a result, his car went to the sidewalk, where at that moment, accompanied by a teacher, a group of children from the kindergarten.

Then the car crashed into the wall of the building. Doctors assisted the victims. They have a concussion, one child sustained a leg injury. The victims were taken to the hospital.

The driver of the car also suffered, however from hospitalization the man refused. The police are now clarifying the circumstances of what happened. During an on-the-spot road accident, it was found that the alcohol content in the driver's body was 0.16 ppm.

Concerning the driver the criminal trial is started, the man is sent for examination, during which it will be established whether he took other intoxicating substances.

Let's remind, in Latvia to operate the car it is authorized, if concentration of alcohol in an organism does not exceed 0,5 промилле.
