Kharkiv resident with a grenade launcher and ammunition detained at the bus station in Kurakhovo

A man who tried to carry an anti-tank grenade launcher and ammunition to the Kharkov region, was detained at the bus station in Kurakhovo. This is reported by the Department of Communication of the State Unitary Enterprise in Donetsk region.

On Friday, policemen during a patrol at the Kurakhovo bus station stopped a suspicious man who was waiting for a bus. 43-year-old resident of Kharkov in the hands holding a large bag.

In the bag were an anti-tank grenade launcher, more than 250 cartridges of various calibers and 3 stores from a Kalashnikov assault rifle - all this a resident of Kharkov planned to take home.

The man explained that he was working in the village of Taramchuk in the Maryinsky district, in the summer of 2015 he found ammunition in a ruined house near the village and kept himself.

With respect to the offender, criminal proceedings have been opened against. 1 st. 263 "Illegal storage of ammunition" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, for which up to 7 years of imprisonment is provided.
