The press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies reported that the rescuer received a message that a ship with passengers was crashing near Jarylgach Island. On its board there were about 70 people. At the same time another boat was boarded near the island, which was supposed to land some passengers and pick up the others.
People stuck on the island complained about the lack of drinking water. With the help of a tugboat ships were removed from the ground. IN 1. 30 nights, July 18, rescue operation to bring people from the island, was completed. In total, about 350 people were brought from the island, of which 100 children. Together with local governments, people were taken to their places of residence.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, rescuers have put out a major fire in a timber warehouse.
