As noted, the Indonesian Dauphin AS365 helicopter crashed on Mount Butak in Central Java province. In addition, the helicopter participated in the evacuation of people from the volcanic eruption zone.
According to the director of operations and training at the National Search and Rescue Agency, General Ivan Tito, on board the helicopter were four Indonesian naval officers and four rescuers.
In turn, the bodies of all the dead were taken to the police hospital Bhaiankara.
It should be noted that as a result of the eruption, four more tourists were injured.
