Ukraine became the 77th in the world ranking of the rule of law

The rating, which involves 113 countries, is based on a study of more than 110,000 households and surveys of three thousand experts. At the same time, in the current rating, Ukraine has risen by one position in comparison with the previous year.

Countries with the highest level of rule of law - Denmark, Norway and Finland. Worst of all things are in Afghanistan, Cambodia and Venezuela.

At the same time, Ukraine became the eight out of 13 countries in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region, which included Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

Of the 30 low-middle-income countries, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, El Salvador, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam, Zambia, Ukraine became 11.

Recall, the rule of law index was developed in 2010. It measures the achievements of countries in ensuring the legal environment. The data are grouped into eight indicators:

the limitation of powers of institutions of power, the absence of corruption, order and security, the protection of fundamental rights, the transparency of institutions of power, the observance of laws, civil justice, criminal justice.

As reported URA-Inform, following the results of 2017, Ukraine rose to 16 positions in the rating of economic freedom. According to the Analytical Center of the Heritage Foundation, which ranked, Ukraine ranked 44th in Europe and 150th among 180 countries. As it says on the site of the center, for the year Ukraine received 51.9 points, hitting in the group of countries "mostly not free". Her overall score increased by 3.8 points.
