In the match of the sixth round of the Champions League group stage, Shakhtar Donetsk missed the victory over the Moldovan Sheriff at home (1: 1).

At the end of the match, when the score was 1: 0 in favor of the Pitmen, Shakhtar's head coach Roberto De Dzerby replaced goalkeepers, releasing Oleksiy Shevchenko on the pitch instead of Andriy Pyatov.

For the 29-year-old Ukrainian, it was his debut match in the Champions League. Unfortunately, you can't call the opening good - after seven minutes Shakhtar missed and missed the victory over Sheriff.

Note that this was Shevchenko's first match with the Pitmen since March 1, 2020.
