Valencia officially named Javier Aguirre as the team's new head coach. The Mexican returns to work on the club level after defeating the Mexican national team at the 2026 World Championships.

For Aguirre, he has turned to La Liga, and there is already great evidence of work. Previously, the 67-year coach has won Osasuna, Atletico, Real Zaragoza, Espanyol and Mallorca.

For information from Spanish ZMI, Aguirre's contract with Valencia is valid until 30 June 2027. The award can be automatically extended for another season if the team qualifies for the European League through the championship.

The new coach is recognized by both Tony Amor, who left for his staff, and Paul Llorente, who is recognized for physical training.

Agirre's task is to stabilize the situation in Valencia and improve the team's results. The Mexican is already preparing for a new stage of his career in Spain.
