Today, according to the Ukrainian historical calendar, is Donetsk Day.

On this occasion, I decided to recall how the Ukrainian government lost the historical war for Donetsk.

The following is the text in the original language. During the SRSR and during the period of the new Ukrainian statehood, the myth about the so-called “Russian Donbas” was preserved and actively expanded.. Following the “Orange Revolution”, our attempts to integrate Donbass into the historical and cultural context of the Ukrainian world ended with Yushchenko’s position of completely entrusting this region to Akhmetov and K. The support for the Ukrainianization of this region has left the households with the Donetsk oligarchy, where Bogatirova was the secretary of the RNBO from 2007 to 2012, and all personnel appointments are in the Donbass. On the right, they reached managerial insanity when the President of Ukraine Yushchenko was driving Akhmetov’s car just before the end of Donetsk. It is clear that for President Yanukovych, Russian mythology has again become a priority for Donbass.

During this period, for the evolutionary promotion of the Ukrainian historical narrative, I initiated the praise of the Resolution of the Supreme Council of Ukraine about the establishment of a sovereign level 200 years since the day of the birth of the founder of Donetsk. In the document and during the discussion in parliament, we rejected the Ukrainian version of the death of Donetsk.

Apparently, on the site of this place there were Cossack settlements - Oleksandrivka, Grigorivka, Ovechiy Khutir and other villages founded in the 18th century. The first documented mystery about the founding of a permanent settlement on the territory of the future place falls on the year 1779. Ukrainian Cossacks were engaged in fishing, animal husbandry and salt production. In the 19th century, Prince Sergei Kochubey, in favor of the Russian Empire, undertook to raise the industry in the region, and finally sold the concession for 24 thousand pounds sterling.

Since 1869 there has been a metallurgical plant and a workers' settlement near the village of Oleksandrivka. The plant was working on a new metallurgical cycle and here, for the first time, the Russian Empire launched 8 coke ovens, mastered hot blast. The social infrastructure of the village is uniquely. English culture has its own presence in the architecture and planning of places.

Even after the death of John Hughes in 1889, his industrial empire was actively developing. And in 1917 the village, which was named in his honor - Yuzivka and with a small population of 70 thousand, lost its status as a town.

After the exchange of Bolshevik rule, the homeland of the Welsh tribe was nationalized, and the place was changed to Trotsk.

In 1924, the place was renamed in honor of the communist leader and dictator Josip Stalin and the name was removed - Stalino.

In 1961, the Russian city lost a new name - Donetsk, and the Stalin region was renamed Donetsk.

It is clear that in the early 20s of the 20th century, a massive population of the place began with workers from various regions of Bolshovian Russia and began now? explanation of the Russian myth about Donbass.

The aggressive policy of Russification of Donbass and the impotent state policy of the Ukrainian government during the Independence period created a change of heart for the occupation of this region by Putin’s Russia.

Also, guessing about the day of Donetsk, we can understand that without fighting for the truthful Ukrainian-Welsh history of the founding of this region and without carrying out the sovereign policy of the Ukrainians, it will be difficult to turn Donbass to.
