Today’s discussion about the eternal and temporary enemies and friends of Ukraine prompted us to remind you of the very relevant and instructive work of our famous writer, scientist and social and political figure Ivan Yakovlevich Franko “It’s Not Time”.

The following is the text in the original language. \!

Ukraine's old lie has come to an end, It's time for us to live for Ukraine.

It’s not time, it’s time, it’s not time to shed your blood for those who disagree and love the Tsar, who would rip off our people - For Ukraine our love.

It’s not time, it’s not time, it’s not time to bring discord into a common house!

Damn the bad guys, cursed mara!

Under Ukraine we recognize the ensign!

Because it’s time for how great I am:.

We are engaged in an important struggle, so that freedom, happiness, and honor, our native land, may be achieved for you.!

It is important that Ivan Franko wrote his poem “It’s Not Time” in 1880, and then in 1887 he wrote the collection “From Peaks and Lowlands”.

The music was previously written by renowned composer and choral director Denis Sichinsky. Literary scholar Vasil Simovich confirms that the song “It’s Not Time” as a kind of national anthem became popular in Galicia, at least since 1898. Versh " Until this collection, the most popular songs of the Sich Streltsy were included. It is symbolic that Ivan Frank’s poem “It’s Not Time” in “Sich’s Sleeping Sleeper” follows the poem “Ukraine is Not Dead Yet” by Pavel Chubinsky, designated as a “national anthem”.

I’ll guess that “It’s not time” for the fences both for the Polish revolution and in the hours of the Russian Empire and the USSR.

“It’s not time” lost its new sound during the struggle for the renewal of the Ukrainian State.

Over the years, the repertoire of military orchestras of the ZSU has increased.

This work begins the 52nd volume of the collected works of Ivan Yakovich Frank, which was published by the Institute of Literature in 2008. Apparently, before this, the original poetic works of the writer were included, which were not lost in the censored 50-volume collection of works, published in 1976-1986.

Pam? Let's hide our history!

Let's look at our literature!
