Channel "1 + 1" began work on a new reality on the German format Curvy Supermodel, the participants of which will be girls with lush forms. In the draft the participants will be the first on Ukrainian television to challenge the strict stereotypes of beauty in the fashion industry.
During the first weeks of casting, the TV channel received more than 1000 applications from girls from different parts of the country and even from the near abroad. The majority of potential participants have often faced negative public reaction, becoming victims of established stereotypes. Nevertheless, they are sure that the project gives an opportunity to prove that the notion of beauty is much wider than the aging standards "90-60-90".

"I came to the casting, because I like the idea of ??the project. Appearance is important, but this is not the greatest achievement of a person. After all, someone is predisposed to have a beautiful body, and some do not. Everyone has the right to lead their own way of life without imposing it on others. I actively go in for sports and can run 10 km, but when I lose weight, I "fade away", lose energy. Therefore, I chose a way of life in which I maintain my physical form, but I can do my favorite things. I think this is a very necessary project for girls like me - who are self-confident and know what they want from life ".
