"Rossiyskaya Gazeta" writes that the press service of the regional administration reported that more than 2.7 billion rubles in 2017-2022 will be spent on the construction and reconstruction of hydraulic structures in Primorye. It is specified that the money will be allocated within the framework of the regional state program "Environmental Protection of Primorsky Krai".

It is noted that 11 new facilities for flood protection will appear in 13 municipalities, two will be reconstructed and seven flood control structures will be repaired.

Director of the Territorial Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Alexander Korshenko clarified that in addition to the construction of hydroconstructions in the province, work is under way to clean up the rivers and deepen their bottoms.

Korshenko said: "The Department has already prepared the project documentation and conducted a state examination of six facilities for clearing, straightening, dredging riverbeds with a total funding volume of more than 150 million rubles".

It is specified that this year it is necessary to clear the riverbeds of Belaya, Melniki, Tigrovaya, Postyshevka, Settle and Orlyny brooks in Partizansky urban district, and also the streams of Kalugin, Middle, Maslennikov streams in the village of Koksharovka of the Chuguevsky Municipal District.

It is noted that everything needs to be done at 44 sites. Their preliminary cost is more than 260 million rubles.

Recall, Primorye for the third year suffers from floods. Two years ago, the typhoon "Goni" hit the land, in 2016 - the typhoon "Lionroc". This year, heavy rainfall caused a flood in six districts of the province. Over 2.5 thousand houses and household plots were flooded.
