Workers in Ukraine will be able to resign from institutions located in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) without visiting the institutions or searching for an employer. It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, thousands of Ukrainians have found themselves formally employed in enterprises that fell under occupation or in the combat zone. This created a legal conflict: since they cannot physically get to the employer to quit, they cannot officially get another job, register with the employment center or undergo retraining.

After February 24, 2022, 11,714 citizens applied to the State Employment Service with similar applications. The innovation will solve their problem - now they will be able to resign in the Diya application in a few clicks.
