Ukraine banned the supply of aircraft engines D-436. This was told by the deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Oleg Bocharov during the round table in the State Duma, Channel Five reports.

These are the engines used in civil aviation. D-436 are installed on AN-148 aircraft of Ukrainian production, most of which are operated in Russia.

Also, these powerplants are on the Russian Yak-42 (medium-haul three-engine passenger aircraft) and Be-200 - multipurpose seaplanes, mainly used by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation as a fire aviation.

D-436 is the engine of the Ukrainian company Motor Sich JSC. Russian "NPC gas turbine" Salyut "and" UDC-UMPO "have a set of documentation for them, allowing to produce, test and supply engines of this family in cooperation with Kiev.
