Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the inhabitants of Ukraine and all modern civilization!
News from the USA. Thursday, July 9, 2026 • Results of the NATO summit • Aggravation continues between the United States and Iran • Trump is going to demand that the Supreme Court review two of his decisions * On the results of the NATO summit in Ankara.
When discussing these results, it is necessary to remember that Donald Trump is and will remain the President of the United States for more than two and a half years.. And therefore, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, the leaders of Canada and the European NATO countries are doing everything possible to prevent the Alliance from cracking, to not give Trump a reason and opportunity to dilute the essence of the existence of the Alliance, or even destroy it.
The results of the summit for Ukraine are absolutely positive in these conditions.
First, Ukraine must receive PAC-3 missiles for PATRIOT air defense systems. European allies promised a certain number of missiles. As Zelensky said, Trump also promised a certain number of missiles - either in the form of assistance, or promised to sell them - the main thing is that these missiles end up in Ukraine as soon as possible and can be used to shoot down Russian ballistic missiles.
Secondly, Trump promised to grant Ukraine a license to produce PAC-3 missiles in Ukraine. This is important, although it will not solve today's problems. It is unknown when exactly the licensing agreement will be signed. But even if soon, the production of PAC-3 missiles is a very complex, high-tech production. It is impossible to build and launch it, to train the personnel who will work in this production in a short time.. US missile manufacturer Lockheed Martin produces two missiles a day. Therefore, it will take a lot of time until Ukraine is able to produce the first PAC-3 missiles. Estimates vary and range from several months to two years. But in any case, if Ukraine can produce these missiles itself, sooner or later it will not be able to depend on their supplies and will even probably be able to export them to other countries that have PATRIOT systems in their arsenal.
Third, Trump has stopped publicly pressuring Ukraine to capitulate, as he constantly did in the past.. Secretary of State Rubio, in the presence of Trump, actually approved the blows that Ukraine is inflicting on Russia - on its oil and gas complex and military industry.
If we return to what we talked about above, at the very beginning, and ask ourselves whether such results of the summit can be considered positive for Ukraine, then the answer is clear: yes, it can. Because it is impossible to count on anything more from Trump. If he no longer declares that Ukraine “has no cards”, if on his behalf his friend Vitkoff does not declare that Ukraine should “give” Donbass to Russia, if he is not even proud out loud that the United States is no longer helping Ukraine, and so-and-so Biden spent the mythical “$350 billion” on it, if he no longer forces Ukraine to imitate so-called “negotiations” with Russia in Istanbul, if he agrees to give Ukraine a license to produce missiles.
What is the bottom line for NATO as a whole He is also positive. Because NATO as a whole could not count on more. Trump signed the summit declaration, which stated that: “We, the heads of state and government of the North Atlantic Alliance, have gathered in Ankara to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the collective defense of Article 5 of the Washington Treaty and to the transatlantic bond.”. An attack on one is an attack on all. Our unity, solidarity and collective strength remain the foundation of peace, security and prosperity for the billion citizens of our Alliance of Free and Democratic Nations"
If we remember how Trump recently once again threatened to withdraw the United States from NATO and stated that relations between the United States and Russia have a great future, then yes, the result of the summit is a success and relief for Canada and European NATO allies. This is a success for the United States, too, because Trump’s America will end at noon on January 20, 2029, but the real national interests of the United States, real security interests will remain, and life will go on. And these interests of the country are that the Alliance needs to be strengthened and close, trusting relationships with allies should be a priority of American policy, as well as a priority of the policy of other NATO countries, and Russia will remain the main threat to the security of all NATO countries.
Otherwise, Trump remained Trump. His long, often incoherent monologues, his stream of consciousness revolved around the same thing, repeating the same absurd cliches.
He again stated several times that he needed Greenland, that “this piece of ice should be controlled by the United States, not Denmark.
He again stated that he did not need European allies at all, that there was an ocean between him and Europe, and Europe had its own problems that he did not care about. He once again said that everyone owes America, that the United States spends trillions on defending Europe, and Europe does not want to fight Iran with him, and immediately added again that he does not need anyone’s help. He repeated again that Putin wants peace, and Ukraine and Russia are like two teenagers who are “fighting in the park” and maybe they should be given another opportunity to fight further.
He again regretted that Ukraine disposes of thirty thousand of Putin’s voluntary thugs every month and again did not condemn Russia’s barbaric terrorist attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, even when one of the journalists actually suggested that he do (although for the first time since his second arrival in the White House, the deputy. The US Permanent Representative to the UN at a meeting of the UN Security Council quite sharply condemned these barbaric terrorist attacks). He threatened to withdraw all American troops from Europe because "
He called Spain a "
He stated that the memorandum signed with Iran and the ceasefire with Iran are no longer valid, that the Iranian leadership are scammers (just two weeks ago he said that they are very rational people and very good to deal with), while repeating several times that his war with Iran is not a war, but a military operation, and its goal is the denuclearization of Iran. However, it is not the stream of consciousness that he spews that is important. What matters is what he does. Or what he doesn't do. For example, does not introduce new sanctions against Russia. Prevents consideration in the Senate of a bill to support Ukraine adopted by the House of Representatives. But at the same time he is going to provide Ukraine with PAC-3 missiles and a license for their production.
At the end of the summit, upon returning home, Trump was forced, at the insistence of the Secret Service, to transfer from a $400 million plane given to him by the Qatari emir to a regular Air Force One, the presidential plane.. The Qatari gift does not have anti-missile systems installed.
* Tensions between the US and Iran continue. US strikes Iranian military installations and ports in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran strikes back at Bahrain and Qatar, ten Iranian ballistic missiles attacked an American military base in Jordan (all missiles were shot down). Iran has de facto almost blocked the Strait of Hormuz again. Over the past 24 hours, only 13 ships have passed through it (before the war, up to 110 ships passed through the strait every day). At the same time, indirect contacts between the United States and Iran continue through the mediation of Pakistan and Oman.
* According to the New York Times, Trump intends to ask the Supreme Court to reconsider his order to repeal the Constitution's birthright citizenship clause and reconsider its decision that the order was unconstitutional. The last time the Supreme Court reviewed its decision was in 1965 - 61 years ago.
A federal judge has ordered Trump to immediately pay journalist and author I Jean Carroll $5 million and an additional $800,000 in accrued interest following a court verdict that found Trump guilty of sexually assaulting Carroll in 1995 and as the Supreme Court declined to hear Trump's appeal of that conviction.. Trump's lawyers say they will ask the Supreme Court to reconsider whether to hear his appeal.. And someone is surprised that he calls the FIFA president and demands that the disqualification of an American football player be lifted.
There are 926 days left until the end of the story called “Fear: Trump in the White House” (the title of the book by Bob Woodward, published in 2018)..

Ultimately, what happens in the world depends on us.
Whether we fight evil, do Good, remain simply observers, wait passively and believe that someone somewhere will decide something for us, or fight evil and do everything possible so that Good wins. We must not allow evil to win.. The victory of evil will mean the end of the world we live in. We cannot allow this. Especially now.
Ukrainian Friends, I hug and love you so much. Take care of one another, I beg you.
Ukraine is and will forever be. And evil will be overcome and punished. І tse immediately.
