President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky arrived in the French city of Evian, where the Group of Seven (G7) summit is taking place.. As part of the summit, Zelensky, together with the leaders of the G7 countries, will take part in a working session dedicated to ensuring peace and security for Ukraine and Europe. The discussion will focus on further steps to provide international support and security guarantees in the context of ongoing Russian aggression.

In addition to joint events, a number of bilateral meetings are planned between the President of Ukraine and the Prime Ministers of Canada and Great Britain, the Chancellor of Germany, as well as the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund. Earlier, Zelensky announced an agreement had been reached regarding a separate meeting with US President Donald Trump, with whom he also had a telephone conversation the day before.
